Set 10 years after Dexter went missing in the eye Hurricane Laura, Dexter: New Blood finds him living under an assumed name in the small town of Iron Lake, New York. Dexter may be embracing his new life, but in the wake of unexpected events in this close knit community, his Dark Passenger beckons. The challenge in composing this score was to create a new sound for Dexter that reflects the quiet and the cold and his new identity. Dexter: New Blood is set in a new place and a new time. The show premiered November 2021 and became the most watched series in Showtime’s history.
Nurse Jackie is an award winning 1/2 hour dark comedy that aired on the Showtime network for seven seasons. Starring Edie Falco (who played Carmela on "The Sopranos") as Nurse Jackie, the character was described by Showtime as a "strong-willed, iconoclastic New York City nurse juggling the frenzied grind of an urban hospital and an equally challenging personal life," noting that the character "had an occasional weakness for Vicodin, Percocet, and Xanax to get her through the days. The show is sometimes described as a “medical comedy-drama.” I composed the score for Seasons 5 - 7.
Bored To Death is sometimes described as a Comedy-Noir. The show aired on HBO from 2009 - 2011 and featured Jason Schwartzman as Jonathan Ames, a writer based in Brooklyn who moonlights as an unlicensed private detective. The show also starred Zach Galifianakis as Ray Hueston, a comic book artist who is Jonathan's best friend, and Ted Danson, as George Christopher, the former editor of a "Vanity Fair" type magazine who has just opened a new restaurant in the West Village called "George On Jane."
The Good Cop was created by Andy Breckman who wrote and directed the Emmy Award winning show, Monk. The Good Cop premiered on Netflix in September, 2018. The show stars Tony Danza as “a disgraced, former NYPD officer who never followed the rules,” and Josh Groban as his son, Tony Jr., “an earnest, obsessively honest NYPD detective who makes a point of always following the rules. The soundtrack was all recorded “live in the studio.”
Rocko’s Modern Life is a cartoon created by Joe Murray for Nickelodeon. The series centers on the surreal life of an Australian immigrant wallaby named Rocko and his friends, the eccentric steer Heffer Wolfe, the neurotic turtle, Filbert, and Rocko’s faithful dog, Spunky. The show is set in the fictional town of O-Town. The show premiered on September 18, 1993 and ended on November 24, 1996, running for four seasons and 52 episodes.

The soundtrack was recorded live in the studio and features an off kilter combination of Country & Western music and the film scores of Nino Rota. The songs in the film feature vocals by Syd Straw.
